Premier Pre-Owned LLC, located at 2855 Main St. in downtown Hurricane, West Virginia officially opened on June 1st, 2006. After nearly a decade of working as a Salesman, Finance Manager, New Car Sales Manager and finally, the General Sales Manager for Courts Chrysler, Dodge, & Jeep in Hurricane, West Virginia, James envisioned opening a pre-owned car dealership that actually was the exact opposite, in many ways, compared to most of the local car dealers. Premier Pre-Owned seems to truly understand what all car dealerships should.......” Today's highly informed consumer is clearly tired of the process auto dealers have made all too familiar.”

Premier’s Operations Manager and Poca, West Virginia native Preston Kelly, is a U.S. Air Force Veteran and a former professional firefighter in South Charleston, West Virginia.  Preston deciding to leave the fires behind and join the “little odd dealer in Hurricane” and has enjoyed the “consumer controlled” atmosphere that Premier Pre-Owned provides. When asked, Preston admits “It is actually a fun place to work when you are not expected to “close” every deal, get a commitment, or pressure someone into buying right now. The owner, James, always says “be honest, sell a good impression, not just a used car, and if a customer doesn’t buy, they might come back and buy something down the road if they felt comfortable, and felt like you were honest with them”. Preston added… “After years of thinking the car business was all about talking people into buying right now, it is very odd to me to allow the consumer to control the shopping process, but I can definitely see the value in it. The look on people’s faces are pretty interesting when they actually feel comfortable and in control”.
